Cooking and math. Many times I have to educate my kids to help them to understand that cooking and math go hand in hand. I at first read an article called “9 Genius Charts That Let You Skip Cooking Math” because I thought it would be a good article to bring in to my classroom of 5th graders and show them a real world connection on how math and cooking go hand in hand. Some of the article was, but another part of the article I found really hand, such as a gluten conversion chart or a slow cooker conversion chart. I highly recommend you check out the charts that have been compiled and save any you find helpful in your recipe book. What chart do you find most helpful?
